1982 is the result of Scott Kesner's solo project. It focuses heavily on the storytelling which includes exquisite details and conceptual themes. For the logo, I incorporated a fresh and funky twist on eighties influence. The colour palette is retro inspired and the gold sparkles add an extra touch from the era.
The bold, colour blocking and digital lines provide a freshness and the set of artwork illustrations convey Scott's wonderful stories, complete with extra descriptiveness and abstract ideas. For these I used an extended but consistent colour palette to bring another dimension whilst staying true to the brand identity.
