giant discarded textile octopus

A giant octopus made of discarded fabric whose name is Ursula and she's on the move! She supports slow fashion, sustainability within the arts and caring for our ocean life, bringing to our awareness the amount of textile waste the fashion industry creates. ​
'There are approximately 92 million tonnes of textile waste produced each year and to put that into perspective, if Ursula had been made using one year of waste fabric, she'd be 325,360,000 times bigger'
She adapts her shape and presence to each space to represent the fashion industry's capability to adapt to new, more sustainable practices and the customer's capacity to adapt to more sustainable consuming.
